DESCRIPTION:

This rare survivor of an era of Alfas that are gone due to rust issues stands proud and in unbelievable original condition. Just turning 100,000 miles this non-sunroof model was probably saved by good 'ole Rusty Jones, meaning she was undercoated by an independent company as a brand new car back when Alfa never used undercoating.
The paint has been carefully preserved over the years and still shines nicely with very few flaws. All of the glass and trim is in excellent condition. This car has, for the last two decades, always been a weekend driver for club events or a casual dinner. The ZF automatic transaxle works smoothly and without hesitation.
The engine has had a cam inspection and valve adjustment, a Performance Ignition system by RML, including new Lodge sparkplugs and Magnecor cables. The cooling system has been serviced and fitted with all new hoses and German clamps. The driveshaft was completely overhauled with all new flex discs and center support. Completely reconditioned fuel system with new Bosch fuel pump, all new soft fuel hoses, injection pump filter and belt, and a new thermostatic actuator. The suspension is fitted with KONI adjustable shocks with new lower ball joints, lowered to European specs with rare factory alloy wheels. The front brakes have been converted to aluminum BREMBO calipers (Milano) with service wheel bearings and new grease seals, and of course new pads (front and rear) and all new brake hoses. The car has been fitted with factory a European header and a complete factory non-catalytic exhaust including all new gaskets, hangers, and hardware.
This outstanding example has factory air conditioning that will crack your teeth it's so cold!!!  Don't be afraid of the automatic transaxle, it really is a blast to drive even more so with the automatic. You won't find a nicer car anywhere! All books and manuals included.
